new to the scanner thing but i am a fire fighter and need to here more than my portable can offer so i got a uniden btx15 x and i am having fun playing so far but could use a little help with how to get better signal i live in a vally with hills all a round me i got a 78 doller ant from radio shack and got it up on the east side of my house and still not all that much better than the ant that came with it any help would help me thanks and i am going to look on my own as well thanks matt
